view bio

Don Dudenbostel studied photography directly with Ansel Adams, and has exhibited his award-winning photographs internationally, as well as in the United States.

Dudenbostel utilizes X-ray photography utilizing special equipment he has developed and modified. He captures the hidden inner beauty of natural forms such as flowers and shells.
The delicate nature of the work draws the viewer in, allowing them to take a glimpse into a world that is not visible to the naked eye. The simple beauty of each object is captured with elegance, detail, and intriguing clarity.
Images are printed using a digital archival carbon printing system. The images produced are 100% carbon pigment based and printed on the highest quality acid-free rag watercolor paper. The pigments contain no dyes which results in a truly archival print with exquisite tonality and color. Prints are avialble matted and framed in a variety of sizes.
